Unlimited Wrangler fuel filler. I drive a UK spec 2008 Unlimited. Filling with diesel is so slow that the pump at the filling station often times out before the tank is full. Does anybody else have this problem? Any solutions? This is a real hassle and I am looking for a solution. Here's hoping for help.

Re: Unlimited Wrangler fuel filler. Hi there, yes I have a an 08 unlimited Diesel, and the same problem, in fact it has generally been a Jeep problem ie 3 out of the last Jeeps i have owned did have the same problem. BUT, Iam trying to find an article I saw in an Oze Jeep mag ,that told and showed one how to solve this problem. So don't feel you are alone. Regards BART {Jeep Collectables Australia]

Re: Unlimited Wrangler fuel filler. Good to hear from you Bart. This is my third Jeep but the first with this problem. I suspect it might be that Jeep are using the same filler neck for deisel that they use for the petrol models. As the USA market does not have a deisel version this would seem like a cost effective option for the company but the different caracteristics of deisel and petrol may require different filler necks. If you do come up with a solution I will be glad to hear it. Many thanks, Colin
