What do you want for Christmas? How about a peek at the actual Jeep Dakar concept vehicle? Well, if you live in the Washington, D.C. area, then here's your chance: between December 26, 1998 and January 3, 1999, the Dakar will be on display at the Washington Auto Show at the Washington Convention Center.

According to a press release:

The 1999 Washington Auto Show offers consumers their first look at a record number of new model introductions and concept cars this year, supplementing the show's existing eight acres of new vehicles in every make, model and price range. The 57th annual holiday showcase, featuring 500 new cars, light trucks, vans and sport utility vehicles from 37 domestic and foreign manufacturers, will run from December 26, 1998 through January 3, 1999 at the Washington Convention Center.

More than a dozen new vehicles will make their national, regional or local debut at the show, sharing the spotlight with a variety of concept cars for consumers to dream about.
