Grand CherokeeObama Had a Jeep
Posted by mike on 2008/8/28 9:50:45 (2391) reads

On the fence about who to vote for this November? If so, your worries are over, your clear choice is Barak Obama, providing you're willing to cast your vote based on what kind of car they drive.

Turns out an Illinois woman recently found out that her 2000 Grand Cherokee once belong to Barak Obama. She's now looking to cash in on her luck by selling the vehicle after the November election:

Murphy said Gossett showed her a copy of a title with Obama's name written all over it. She said she did not initially recognize the name but became excited after learning the young politician was running for the U.S. Senate.

She said her excitement was rekindled when Obama joined the race for the presidential nomination and she now plans to sell the vehicle after the November elections. Murphy said she hopes that if Obama becomes the new occupant of the White House she will be able to sell her Jeep for more than its regular trade-in value.
On a related note, McCain didn't know what kind of car he drives...

This is a messed up sign when a Jeeper advocates Obama! Obama and people who are voting for Obama are the sorts who we call "Tree Huggers", and want to ban off-roading and SUV's and Jeeps. They call us wreckers of the earth. They say we drive "gas guzzling 4-wheel drives". Get your heads out of your asses and look at San Fransisco! Is that what you want for our Country? Is that waht you want to expose your kids to? Who cares if Obama owned a Jeep. Hitler owned a Jeep too. Does owning a Jeep make you a good person? Hell no! Can owning a Jeep make you a better person? Matbe. Since Obama got rid of his Jeep, that should tell you, he is NOT a true Jeeper. Infact, I'll bet his Jeep never even saw a dirt road!

McCain drove Jeeps when he was in the military, SERVING OUR COUNTRY! What did Obama serve? SHIT! Obama has only ran his mouth. He can never give a forwrd answer about anything. He would make a better weatherman than a president of the USA!

Ronald Reagan owned a CJ-6 and Obama is no Ronald Reagan.

As for Bush being a failure, we wouldn't have the problems we have today if it wasn't for the last two democratic presidents. Jimmy Carter gave us the Iranians and Bil Clinton refused to drill in Alaska and take the fight to the terrorists. 50 million more people live in freedom thanks to Bush which is never a failure.

Well, in fairness to President-elect McCain, the "new" Cadillac designations SRX, CTS, DTS, etc... are very confusing compared to the old school Deville, Eldorado, Seville, etc. designations... which is what he is probably very familiar with.

Also, I believe he owns very little real estate. It's his WIFE that has numerous properties across the globe. She's loaded! And she's pretty attractive (er, um, OK, let's say "very well preserved") for a future First Lady.

In clear conflict with the Left's "environmental" heart global warming stance, Barack Hussein Obama now drives a Chrysler 300C getting ~18 mpg.

Ooohhh, I can see this is going to be a lively thread!

Of course Obama will will want all of us who own more than one Jeep to give some of them away so everybody can have one.

Keep in mind, there weren't nearly as many poor people in need before the last 8 years of failure

Anytime those "poor people" want to grab one of the numerous posted HELP WANTED signs, roll up their sleeves and get to work, there's nothing stopping them from being self-sufficient (if not prosperous) in these Untied States. You might not always find the job you want but you can always find a job if you need.

On another nerve, if U don't vote in the U.S., your criticism of our leadership will be ignored. To be fair (and balanced) we in the states won't criticize the (absence of any) Canadian leadership and military capability, either.

Now, see what you started, Mike!

LOL I couldn't agree more. I'm the last person to defend the chronically unemployed. I work hard. Millions on welfare depend on ME. But I can't miss a chance to take a shot at Bush. Come on? One would think a leader should at least have the IQ of your average Wal-Mart greeter.

Did you ACTUALLY just make a military joke? That's pretty low brow. You've obviously never served. Come face our boys and make that joke, punk. Or maybe you should go meet them in Afghanistan and talk about it there.

No, not a military joke, a Canadian military joke, but that would be redundant. I know, cheap shot, but sometimes the low hanging fruit tastes better.

See Mike, I knew this thread would soon go sideways... mea culpa...

Under PRESIDENT Bush, we've been terrorist-incident-free since 9/11/01. I know his detractors say, "That's the only success you can point to!". That's plenty good enough for me, and many others. Our Democratic Congress has about ~9% approval rating, last I checked. If there's criticism to be levied, they're a well-deserved target.

As a matter of fact, yes I did serve in the military: as a Naval Officer on a fast-attack nuclear sub. But that's a story for another day. So much for the "obvious". I forget, how many nuclear submarines does Canada have? Ooops, I slipped again...

Remember, other than your latitude, and the fact that most of the world can make its own ice, the only ones watching your backs are us Yanks. But feel free to sling cheap shots at the leader of the free world. As I've said, it's easily ignored.

On a more serious note, outside of the Canadian newspapers' editorial pages, of course our countries & militaries share a mutual respect, and the U.S. always appreciates its faithful NATO allies. Peace!
