The British television show Fifth Gear recently had a segment trying to figure out where a modern Wrangler stacks up against a WWII-era Willys.

This is indeed some age. I'm not sure just how old but I first saw it some time ago. But it is a great engine. Off road it is much better than the old 4 litre.

At the begining of the clip the show host said "Jeep has just release an all new wrangler". Towards the end he said it has a 2.8 liter, 174 hp diesel. Is this clip a couple of years old?

I think I heard 1:1. That's steep. Not a Rubicon, must not have had the lockers.
I love that show, but the big goofy guy with the big hair is decidedly partial to low, fast, Mercedes and BMWs, or anything that goes fast. He probably would have flipped the thing. |

Not a bad job for a couple of Brits! I wonder what angle that incline was?
