The annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari is something like a SEMA show - but with moving Jeeps crawling over rocks and dusty trails, surrounded by spectacular scenary.
Mopar and the Mopar Underground design team took about a dozen modified Jeep vehicles to the 43rd annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah.
Enjoy the Jeep porn.
I'll take one Jeep Overland, please.

A Hemi Wrangler would be great, but in today's socialist green environmentally correct society, it just wouldn't fly, especially when Chrysler is relying on the socialist comrades to approve the Chrysler/Fiat deal...
A better fit would be a NUVERA Reformer Fuel Cell mated to the Electric NUVI Drivetrain...It would make more low-end torque than the Hemi and get better mileage. |

For 4 or 5 YEARs now (maybe longer) Jeep has been going to public events such as this and showing off a Wrangler with a hemi in it. Each time they get an enthusiastic response and generate much press coverage that literally lasts for months. I’m just wondering how many years it will take before they realize that there IS a market for the hemi in a Wrangler? If I remember correctly, it took about 10 years before Jeep realized that there was a market for the RUBICON model. Does anyone know if Jeep has sold enough RUBICONs to make back their investment yet?
Wouldn’t selling a couple thousand hemi’s in Wranglers be an easy way to generate some cash? How much design work (that hasn’t already been done) would that take? From the promotions that Chrysler was having for Hemi’s a couple of months ago, it would appear that there are at least a few hemi’s hanging around waiting for a car to jump into. ![]() |

I love that old school Cherokee Chief with the hemi. That's really nice. As a FSJ owning boy, that makes me drool. The hemi logo in the diamond pattern is a nice bling touch too. But, what is a 4.5" long...arm kit? (listen for the announcer's pause between long and arm) LOL.
