I don't get it either.
Media Bistro agrees as does a columnist from the Chicago Sun-Times:
Even as the bar for acceptable advertising has dropped lower and lower in recent years, not much out there rises above the merely acceptable. But rarely have we come across a spot as bad as "Time," part of a new campaign with the tagline "I live. I ride. I am. Jeep."

This ad makes you wonder..OK it's a jeep commercial so where the heck are the jeeps so that engages you and secondly it portrays one one the primary reasons we buy Jeeps..lifestyle. This is better than previous and they should continue this thread..promoting the lifestyle..getting away.
I don't think I would hit the well too many times with it though. |

Re: Video: New Jeep Commercial That is the worst Jeep ad ever!! If that is what we can expect from the new Agency and Jeep Marketing, we are in trouble. What is with the "I ride" line anyway?? You ride a motorcycle or a lawn mower or a bicycle. You DRIVE a Jeep. The previous ad agency must be laughing at the new Jeep Management team. Makes you wonder if they know what they are doing. Over the years, Jeep has had some of the best automotive ads but "Time" is just lousy. A really poor decision to run a Jeep ad like this piece of crap.
