I'm still not sure about this new advertising campaign for the Jeep brand. The first commercial, titled "Clocks" is now joined by a second commercial under the new "I live. I ride. I am. Jeep" titled "Reality".
Let me know what you think of the new campaign in the comments section.

anybody else thinking of that Simpsons episode with the overnight cable-tv Mr. Plow ad? The ad that had NOTHING to do with plowing?

They paid someone for this drivel? You would think they wouldn't throw their/our money out the window, but they are.

Wow. These commercials are AWFUL. Just do a commercial that shows a jeep doing something the competition can't off road. It's not that frigging hard.

The 2nd Jeep ad is possibly worse than the first. The lead in on the commercial call out "Globalhue" as the creator of the ad, never heard of them. This is the most inane and inept attempt to relate to the JEEP product I have ever seen. As a Jeep Executive, we were always exposed to these ad campaigns before they hit the airways and believe me, we would have tried to prevent this type of ad campaign. What is the current Management thinking or are they just so out of touch with the product that they can't relate to this feeble attempt of a commercial? The ad agency should be termininated and the Marketing team that authorized this crap should be demoted. JEEP deserves better!

Did they get their advertising agent from 1st. grade? Really, how about showing your product instead of clocks, tv's and everything else that has NOTHING to do with Jeep? This is where our MILLIONS of tax dollars have gone.... swish... down the toilet!! Just like the Jeep name.

I agree 100%. It's crap! There have been some awesome Jeep commercials over the years, but these are exhibits A and B of how not to do it.
Here's a classic WJ ad: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKC0emCF6A8 |

Whomever Chrysler has retained for their current marketing campaigns needs to be sacked. The Ram ads are equally preposterous and inane.

I think there is a good thing to say about the commercial, it's forgetable!

This ad campaign in a word: Horrible. As a Jeep person, even a Jeep apologist, I feel I can't put any positive spin on this crap. It's smug. It's self-righteous. It's off-putting. It makes me want to disassociate myself from Jeep.
