Exactly the problem with these "special editions". They are simply stickers and other cosmetic changes. What a waste of time. But I suppose they may make some nice profit on those stickers. |

Re: Video: Mike Manley Talks Jeep at NAIAS The video still doesn't work but I found it elsewhere on the net. After listening to Mike Manley, it is CLEAR that he doesn't understand very much about JEEP. His comment about the special models being sold out is naive. The Dealers have placed orders for the projected volume to be built, none are SOLD and in the hands of the customer. May not be a big deal but I already know of several dealers who are dismayed about "more decals and stickers". The "let's wow them with stickers" mentality does not seem to be working for Chrysler with their Dodge Challenger. Most Dealer lots are bloated with new Challengers covered with all kinds of stripes and decals along with fake hood scoops. Time to grow up and get serious about product content and value that the customer will appreciate. Manley needs to lose the J.C. Whitney catalog and get to work!! JEEP deserves better!!!
