If you're a follower of @jeep on Twitter, then you already know that for they've been running a trivia contest lately.
On April 1, five contestants who correctly answered a Jeep trivia question on Twitter will dig in a giant sandbox in Camp Jeep outside the Jacob K. Javits Center, site of the New York International Auto Show, looking for the golden Jeep Tiki. The first contestant to find the golden JeepTiki wins the 2010 Jeep Wrangler Islander. Jeep Brand President and CEO Michael Manley will preside over the event.

Give us a good bare bones trail capable Diesel Wrangler, or even a a diesel trail rated Cherokee replacement that can do the Rubicon, and they could sell tons of them instead of giving them away like this gimmack. I'd even go for a 60 MPG 95 HP diesel jEEP pANDA if they made the interior big enough for a 6'2"+ guy like me and it was trail rated. I'd love to see a hybrid (diesel/electric) with 4 electric motor hubs to eliminate much of the heavy drivetrain, but then we're probably getting very expensive and out of my budget. While I'm dreaming, I sure like the concept of pushbutton adjustments to the vehicle height to keep the on road handling good, like the nexr GC.
