LeftLaneNews.com recently published some spy photos of the 2011 Jeep Compass.
... we now have several very clear images of precisely what the next Jeep Compass will be. It is incredibly clear that Jeep is hoping to borrow some of the successful DNA from the all-new 2011 Grand Cherokee with the new front fascia, particularly the slatted chrome grille. The hood was also redesigned, rounding out a completely new front-end.
Although the side profile has remained the same – as to be expected from a mid-cycle refresh – the rear of the vehicle was also cleaned up. The tail lamps are now much cleaner in their design and convey a higher sticker price than the outgoing model. Likewise, the bumper design is much more in line with the premium style of the big brother Grand Cherokee, and not as gimmicky as the 2010 Compass’.

Still hideous. I'll be glad when they stop making those things. Why they can't come up with a trail-capable 2-seater the size of an early CJ is beyond me.

Yikes! I hope is drives better than it looks.
It looks like an aesthetics disaster from 15 years ago. The Aztek comes immediately to mind. |
