If you like camping, and own a Wrangler, it's going to be difficult to resist Mopar's latest offering (at least until you see the MSRP): the Jeep Camper Trailer. Available starting August 1, 2011, the design is drool-worthy.
Available in two models, the "Trail Edition" and the "Extreme Trail Edition" (heavier frame, bigger tires, skid plate!), both come with queen-size bed, stowable table, and 110-volt power supply.
Designed to meet off-road capabilities of Jeep® 4x4 vehicles, Jeep® Trail and Extreme Trail campers incorporate Jeep® Wrangler’s rugged design cues, including Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon 17-inch cast-aluminum wheels (with 5-lug by 5-inch bolt pattern to utilize most Jeep® vehicles’ spare tire), taillights, fender flares, rear bumper (Trail Edition camper only), badging and hood-tie downs.
Check out additional pictures at the Mopar site.
As a service to my readers, I'm going to protect you from seeing the MSRP unless you click the "read more" link below (you're welcome).
The all-new Jeep® Trail Edition camper (MSRP: $9,995) and Extreme Trail Edition camper (MSRP: $11,995) may be ordered as Mopar accessories on August 1, 2010 at local Jeep® dealerships.

Those were available as early as July '10. Here's the original Chrysler Press Release.
Here's the LivinLite Quicksilver 6.0 on which it's based. The generic (non-off road ones) are a lot cheaper. ![]() |
