As in most years, the first "official" Chrysler info we get on the new model year Wrangler is from the Fleet literature. So here it is, including the new colors: 2012 Wrangler Fleet Buyer's Guide
From the description:
The vehicle known for exploring the unknown gets a major upgrade in power. Now standard for both Wrangler and the four-door Wrangler Unlimited is the exceptional new 3.6L Pentastar® V6 power plant mated to the proven 6-speed manual — but the transmission choices have also been strengthened, with a new available 5-speed automatic joining the team.

New colour looks good. Read the link with motortrend and see a comment stating that European diesel powered Wranglers get 39 mpg on the highway. This is not the case. I have a 2.8 litre four year old Unlimited with 72,000 miles. I get high twenties combined and cruising at 70 mph am lucky to get 30 mpg. That said this is the most fun vehicle I have ever had. My last car was a 4.0 litre petrol Wrangler and the diesel engine is much preferable for an off road vehicle. You guys in the States really don't know what you are missing.

Some nice upgrades. Wondering about price and mileage. I was hoping the towing would be a little better.
