American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) recently debuted their Brute Double Cab at SEMA - similar to their TJ Brute, but with a double-cab.
From the AEV blog:
When we released the TJ Brute in 2002 at the Las Vegas SEMA Show, not even Chrysler really knew it was coming and it was the absolute hit of the show. It was a great to see the reactions, because at the time nothing like it had ever been done to such a high level of quality. Well, we did it again. Introducing the AEV Brute Double Cab, a double body and separate box pickup truck conversion for JK Wranglers. This is the real deal, targeted at the Overland crowd, this is a vehicle that will perform exceptionally well off-road compared to a Dodge Ram or Dakota, while having more storage room than a four door Wrangler could ever offer.

Powerful stuff. Something like a Hummer, but the design is more attractive. The new Wrangler is something delightful.

This beast is AMAZING! Yes, dump the Patriot and leave the real 4x4s in the Jeep lineup - then add a real truck like this FROM THE JEEP FACTORY.
A Jeep full-size quad-cab pickup would probably sell like crazy, too, yet the Jeep "engineers" give us plastic interiors with "Jeep Heritage" stickers... Jeep should be a truck name, not a "lifestyle" car! There's money to be made here, people!! |
