It really does look like they will be able to sell 70K Commanders a year

As the difference between the annual change and monthly change shows, much of this is just seasonal buying cycles.

I am glad to see that the Wrangler and Commander are gaining in sales regardless.

Of course this is widespread and certain areas will see higher volumes of different models, but overall, the Jeep brand is holding it's own and still remains a tough competitor. The WK was off to a slow start, most likely due to the drastic body line changes. Most were not ready for the squared off euro-look, but more and more customers are warming up to them. I didn't like tham at first, but next to the WJ (pile) it is a breath of fresh air. cosmetically and mechanically (except the choice in water pump vendors) it is a very tight vehicle.

Wrangler has and always will appeal to the most loyal of Jeep owners- the "universals"....

Liberty fell drastically after the body change. The interior is way more efficient, but the exterior, well, it just plain sucks. Nobdy likes it. People who own them don't like the way they look. Expect a major change and possible re-name soon!!
