Former Law & Order babe Angie Harmon was on hand in Detroit today to help DaimlerChrysler debut the all-new Jeep Compass.
Pictured with Mrs. Harmon is Joe Eberhardt, Chysler Group Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. Harmon was impressed enough with the sporty, compact, but rugged Jeep Compass to tell Eberhardt to have "his people call her people" about putting one in the star's driveway.
Time will tell if the car-like Compass will be a hit with either the general public or current Jeep owners. From what we've heard, current Jeep owners would be more impressed if Jeep did something to differentiate the front-wheel drive Compass from the competition (diesel engine being at the top of the list).
According to published reports, the Compass' main target audience is young, single females who make at least $60,000 - this seems like a market that Jeep would like to expand into.
