Ohio Rep. Edna Brown says she is working to bring the Jeep pickup to the Toledo plant. She says the vehicle is based on the Jeep Wrangler.

Brown is holding a news conference Tuesday to discuss steps she's already taken to pitch Toledo as the production site as well as further steps she'll take as a member of the Ohio Senate.

"This is a great opportunity for job growth here in Toledo," Brown said, "and I will aggressively work with state and local economic development officials to bring new production to the Jeep campus."
